FROM THE FIRST ROOKIE TO THE BIG HIT

There’s a card
for every collector.

Maybe it’s your favorite player. Maybe it’s an autograph, a numbered parallel, or a card you’ve been chasing for months. That’s the fun of collecting.

MEET THE TEAM

I’m Remy.
He’s Bear.
We’re glad you’re here.

I’m a sports-card collector who loves football cards, exciting finds, and sharing the hobby. You’ll find us on Whatnot as remyandbear_cards, running singles and hanging out with other collectors.

Bear is my yellow Labrador retriever and the inspiration behind the other half of our name. He brings the personality. I bring the cards.

From rookies and autographs to numbered cards and case hits, this is where you can see what’s coming up and join us for the next show.

COLLECTOR CORNER

A little hobby know-how.

Know your cards.

Rookie cards

Cards from a player’s rookie season or rookie-year releases. Look for the year, set, and rookie designation when comparing cards.

Autographs

Cards featuring a player’s signature. On-card signatures and signatures on stickers are different formats, so check the card description.

Numbered cards

A stamp such as 12/99 identifies a card within a numbered print run. The number alone does not determine its value.

Parallels

Alternate versions of a base card, often with different colors or finishes. Match the exact parallel when comparing sales.

Raw & graded

Raw cards have not been encapsulated with a grading company’s assigned grade. A graded card is sealed in a labeled holder. Condition still matters when comparing examples.

Comps

Comparable completed sales. Match the player, year, set, parallel, and condition. Asking prices are different from completed sales.

QUICK MATH

Your percentage calculator.

Work out a percentage of a comparable sale. You enter the numbers.

$85.00

Just arithmetic, not a card appraisal. This does not include shipping, taxes, or selling fees.

Protect the cards you love.

Handle cards by their edges, use clean sleeves and suitable holders, and store them away from moisture and direct sunlight.
